Meeting Schedule

The Citizens Advisory Committee Utilities was established by the City Manager in 1997. The original committee consisted of 10 members representing a cross section of area individuals with diverse backgrounds. In 2010, the Committee was expanded from 10 to15 members.

Committee members are selected based on their qualifications and willingness to serve. Committee members are customers of the City's Utilities either for their residence or business and the Committee has representation from persons residing both in the City and unincorporated Leon County.

The Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the City Manager on utility-related issues. Members provide input on current issues and long-term planning for electric production and delivery, water quality and wastewater treatment, among others. The committee will also provide input on utility-related business policies.

Meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with additional meetings to be held as needed.
