The purpose of this document is to provide the public with information on major (defined as 20+ units of residential and/or 10,000 square feet of non-residential) developments in Tallahassee and Leon County that are either in the planning stages or in the process of construction. Note: This definition was modified with the September 2011 report from 40+ units of residential and/or 25,000 square feet of non-residential uses. Due to the fact development plans often change over time, projects in the pre-submittal or pre-application stage of review are normally included in this report for one year after their respective application review date and typically up to two years for site plan reviews. New public facilities that will have a significant impact on traffic patterns are also included.
Information has been gathered from the City of Tallahassee Growth Management Department, the Leon County Growth & Environmental Management Department, the Tallahassee-Leon County Planning Department and field surveys. This report is intended to be an informative compilation of major proposed and on going residential and commercial development in the City of Tallahassee and Leon County. The accuracy of any and all information contained herein is not guaranteed.
