| Note | This league is for returning senior league players and advancing 15 - 19 year olds, and not registered with the Babe Ruth Organization. |
There are new bat requirements for Dizzy Dean League for 15-19 year olds. The bat shall be a regulation (unaltered) baseball bat (not softball) made of either wood or an approved alloy.
For ages 13-14, all non-wood bats must meet BBCOR (Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution) and possess a "clearly identifiable" manufacturer's certification stamp.
- A bat shall not weigh numerically more than three ounces less than the length of the bat.
- The diameter of the bat shall be no larger than 2 5/8 barrel.
- For ages 13 & up still Drop 3 and BBCOR
- Bats that are broken, cracked, dented or deface the ball are illegal.
- There shall be no devices, attachments or wrappings that cause the handle to become flush with the knob.
- Molded grips and Choke up knobs are illegal
