Applications
Many of the E-Services you can access via our site is driven by applications and databases supported by ISS. These include the Online Kennel, Utility Online Services, Geographic Information System, Online Minority Business Enterprise Directory and the Tallahassee Area Traffic Management System.
In addition, the City has enterprise applications driving the daily business at City Hall and all other facilities. These applications are used day in and day out by city employees to do daily work that supports all city services. ISS provides infrastructure, administrative, logistical and technical support for:
CAD/RMS - Computer Aided Dispatch/Records Management System
- Police and Fire dispatch and records systems (upgrade in progress)
- Automatic Vehicle Location
- Electronic Field Reporting
- All applications completely integrated from the point of call taking (911 operator) thru storage in the RMS and CAD databases
Enterprise Applications
- Business Intelligence – An application providing ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading) of City data, presented in a graphical dashboard used to easily address departmental metrics and report management needs. This new application has the ability to pull information from multiple locations, and then report to a centralized repository for easy access and readability.
- Online Benefits Enrollment – Employees will be able to enroll for their desired benefits during Open Enrollment via the Human Resource Management System Self-Service module. This new system will replace the outdated IVR system used in the pass with a user-friendly graphical interface for easier, and more accurate benefit selection.
