Fleet Contracts
The City of Tallahassee is pleased to provide other governmental agencies the opportunity to share from several contracts for a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.
The respective vendors guarantee these contracts are as low or lower than the prices at which they will sell to any governmental agency. The City of Tallahassee has the contractual rights to verify all prices. Violations of this innovative low-price guarantee result in a six percent vendor assessment due the purchaser.
Any governmental organization may participate in these contracts and still spec vehicles and equipment. City of Tallahassee specifications do not contrain your agency. This is particularly true in reference to Cab & Chasis and body contracts. Mixing them allows you to spec an entire vehicle within these contracts.
The tire contract offers the lowest price tire available for new Goodyear tires. Ask your local provider to use "GS0748031" number when ordering. With just this simple step, you will receive the discounted price. Recaps are also available by calling the number in the contract and are offered at the same discounted pricing structure.
